In Memory: Former Grieve President 'Pat' Calabrese dies at 90
P.J. “Pat” Calabrese, who served as president of Round Lake, Ill.-based Grieve Corp. for 40 years, died Feb. 17. He was 90.
Calabrese was born in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1949 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career at Grieve, a global supplier of industrial ovens and furnaces, in 1958 as its national sales manager. He went on to become president in 1968, and was named chairman in 2006, two years before he retired.
He is survived by his wife, four children and six grandchildren. His son Frank is the VP of sales and marketing for Grieve.
