New Roboze printer broadens materials range

Issue: July 2017

Roboze One This updated fused-filament-fabrication printer is designed for high-temperature applications involving engineering-grade materials. It can be used for functional prototyping and product development, as well as the manufacture of tooling, with the possibility of replacing metal with plastic materials. It is capable of making parts as large as 11 inches by 8.7 inches by 7.9 inches.

What’s new? Upgrades introduced in April that provide for greater precision, repeatability and durability, compared to the previous Roboze One design. The machine is now more flexible than before, with a broader portfolio of materials, including nylon 6, carbon-fiber-reinforced polyamide and ABS-PC. In addition, it boasts a new, more intuitive interface and a new stainless steel extruder that can heat up to 572 degrees Fahrenheit.

Benefits Accurate prints, even at high temperatures. The machine achieves print accuracy of within 25 microns. With its updated design, it also is sturdier and quieter than its predecessor.
